I too got grief from the cashier and manager. They were asking if I photo copied them as well. The first issue was they wouldn’t scan for the cashier. Not sure if this was because the bar code was one of the newer ones, but seemed smaller in length. There was no old type of barcode. So the number on each one is the same lending to them thinking I copied them. The manager asked where I printed them and I said online! I don’t know if they thought I would take the time to fabricate the coupon on my own. The manager had the cashier override them and she said she was trusting me that they were legit. The cashier seemed super annoyed, but I left with my pasta and knew I did nothing shady.
Yaay…Another deal that worked.
Although, the cashier got under my skin the coops worked.
She was over analyzing my printed copies, asking whether I made photo copies. I politely explained to her that I printed two copies from one computer on one printer. Then she went on to say, oh well I’m looking for the address…we can only accept coupons that has the company address.
